On the Outside: The Film

Purifico pods hold their shape using water-soluble films made of polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) that are colorless, odorless, non-toxic and biodegradable—meaning, they dissolve in water and are then consumed by bacterial micro-organisms. We chose PVOH to create our pods because it doesn’t contaminate recycling streams or contribute to micro-plastic pollution. It’s so safe in fact, that this same film is also used for food-grade products.

On The Inside: The Formula

All of our pods are made with 100% natural fragrances and are crafted from top-quality essential oils, as well as 100% natural cleansers, moisturizers and foaming agents—which include plant-based surfactants that are mild yet effective. Our pods are 98% naturally derived. That’s because some of our formulas contain less than 1% of dyes used as an opacifying agent. The dyes we used in some of the products are FD&C blue 1. Great environment friendly product!

I tried this new (travel friendly) product while vacationing as I was tired of buying and throwing out plastic bottles. The body wash and shampoo are great with a nice foamy texture and fresh scent. The little pods dissolved super easily leaving just the right amount of soap or shampoo in the palm of your hand.
Really recommend this product, especially if you care about doing your bit to try to save our planet!

Impressive Pods

At first I thought there is no way this is going to wash my hair and body…but I was WRONG! I had plenty of sudsy goodness to get the job done. These are nifty little things, especially for a traveler. They smell wonderful and I’m impressed so far!

I loved the idea of these little pods, but really fell for the fresh bright scent. I also love how one pod fills up my sponge with just the right amount of product! Hats off Purifico- good for me and the environment!

Excellent Product

My first impression was the wonderful smell! The pod dissolved easily into rich sudsy lather in my wash cloth. I didn’t anticipate there would be enough soap for my hair but I was wrong. I was able to wash my hair and body. I would recommend the product. I got the rosemary and argon oil soap pod.
